Don't Leave What Matters Most to Chance.

Life moves fast. Sometimes the things that matter most get the least of us.

The Moments You're Missing

That Shape Your Life, Your Relationships and Your Results

Every day brings Moments that can strengthen a relationship, change a decision, open an opportunity—or quietly pass us by.

The Moments You're Missing helps you recognize the Moments that matter, understand what is really happening, and prepare yourself to step into them well.

Why I Wrote This

After decades of working with leaders, businesses, families and friends, I began noticing something:

Some Moments are worth far more than we realize when we're standing in them.

In business, the right conversation, relationship, decision or opportunity can produce a 10X return on time or money—and sometimes create millions of dollars in value. Many extraordinary periods of growth begin when someone sees an opportunity others miss and has the courage and preparation to act on it.

But the most valuable Moments aren't always measured in dollars.

What is a healthy marriage worth? A strong relationship with your children? A lifelong friendship? Becoming the kind of leader people trust?

Those are built through Moments too.

A conversation when you're tempted to become defensive. A question you almost don't ask. An encouragement someone desperately needs. A decision to tell the truth with grace. A chance to repair something before distance grows.

I've missed some of those Moments. I've caught some. And over the years, I've watched what happens when people learn to recognize them, prepare for them, and step into them with greater wisdom, courage, calm and love.

That's why I wrote The Moments You're Missing.

Because understanding the Power of Moments can change more than what you accomplish.

It can change who you become—and the life you build with the people who matter most.

I created Summit Forum to help people prepare for them.”

It starts with hope

Something Better Is Possible.

A relationship can grow stronger. A difficult conversation can happen. A leader can change. A family can reconnect. A business can become healthier.

Growth begins when we believe something better is possible.

The Inner Person Shapes the Outer Life.

Meaningful change often begins closer than we think — with us.

  • Who am I becoming?
  • How am I showing up for the people who matter most?
  • What deserves more of my attention?
  • What might I be missing?

We believe becoming a better leader begins with becoming a better person.

The Five Entrustments

Each of us has important things entrusted to our care. How we steward them shapes our lives — and the lives of the people around us.

  • 01

    Faith

Our relationship with God and the foundation from which we live.

  • 02

    Family

Marriage, children, grandchildren and the people closest to us.

  • 03

    Friends

Relationships that know us, encourage us and walk alongside us.

  • 04

    Work / Finance

    Calling, contribution, responsibilities and stewardship.

  • 05

    Health

Caring for the capacity to live, love, serve and contribute.

Don't leave brotherhood to chance

Intentional Brotherhood

Men need good men around them.

Life gets busy. Relationships drift. Challenges come. What matters most can slowly get pushed aside. That's why brotherhood shouldn't be left to chance.

Intentional Brotherhood creates a place to return — to be known, encouraged, challenged and reminded of what matters most. Like a lighthouse, it helps us get our bearings, make adjustments and stay the course.

“We are capable of more than we think—and sometimes it takes good people around us to help us see it.”

In practice, this begins with a Moments Group — a small circle of men, and a Room where they prepare for the Moments that matter.

You are a leader

Leadership That Multiplies

You don't need a title to be a leader. Parents lead. Spouses lead. Friends lead. Business owners, managers, teachers and coaches lead.

“Leadership matters because people matter.”

Some Moments matter more than others

Pay Attention to the Moments.

Life is filled with Moments—but not all Moments are equal.

Some seem small when they arrive yet have the potential to shape a relationship, a family, a career, a business—or a life.

The challenge is learning to notice the Moments that matter—the ones with real consequence. When we recognize that something important is at stake, we can slow down, understand what is happening, and prepare how we want to enter the Moment.

Discussion creates perspective. Practice creates readiness.

Pressure tends to expose our defaults. Preparation and practice help us respond differently — and over time, what once required practice becomes part of who we are. That's formation.

A simple next step

Be Intentional. Start Here.

You don't need a plan for everything. Begin with one area, one honest question, one conversation. Small, intentional steps have a way of shaping the things that matter most.
